Your privacy matters. This page explains, in plain language, what pmmodi.net collects, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
pmmodi.net ("we", "us", "this site") is an independent, unofficial fan page celebrating India's Prime Minister. We are not affiliated with the PM, the PMO, the BJP or the Government of India. This policy covers information handled through this website.
2. Information we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the fan features:
- If you subscribe for updates: your name (optional), email address and/or mobile number, and your consent to be contacted.
- If you post in Fan Voices or comment: the display name and message you choose to submit, and an email or mobile number to verify you are a real supporter (this contact detail is kept private and is never shown publicly).
- If you join the "Top Fans" leaderboard: we verify your email address with a one-time code (passwordless) so your daily streak stays yours across devices. Your email is never shown publicly, sold, or shared — only the display name and city you enter, plus your streak count and a member number, appear on the public board. You must confirm you are 18 or older to join.
- Automatically: standard technical data your browser sends to our host and to third-party services (for example IP address, device/browser type) used for security and to serve the page.
We do not ask for your religion, caste, or other sensitive personal data. Taking part in any fan feature — subscribing, posting, or joining the leaderboard — is entirely voluntary self-expression on your part.
3. Your selfies stay on your device
The tricolor DP Maker processes your uploaded photo entirely inside your own browser. Your photo is never uploaded to or stored on any server. When you close the page, it is gone.
4. How we use your information
- To send occasional updates about this fan page — only if you asked for them.
- To display the supportive messages you choose to post (after a quick review).
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal details to anyone. You can ask us to delete your details at any time (see "Your rights").
5. Cookies & advertising
To help cover hosting costs, this site may show third-party ads, including Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
We also use minimal local storage in your browser to remember your language choice and your daily-streak progress. This stays on your device.
6. Third-party services we rely on
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts and delivers this website.
- Supabase — securely stores subscriber details and the messages you post.
- YouTube (privacy-enhanced
youtube-nocookiemode) — for embedded videos. - Google AdSense — for advertising, where enabled.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the personal details you have given us, or to stop contacting you. Just email [email protected] and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.
8. Children
This site's interactive features (subscribing, posting, and the "Top Fans" leaderboard) are intended for users aged 18 and over, and we ask you to confirm you are 18 or older before submitting any personal details. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date.
